DESCRIPTION:This introductory workshop is designed for anyone new to woodwo
 rking or looking to build confidence using hand and power tools safely whi
 le working on a small take home personal project. Participants will learn 
 workshop safety\, proper tool handling\, and basic techniques used in wood
 working and boatbuilding. Instruction covers measuring\, cutting\, shaping
 \, sanding\, and assembly while completing a simple project.\n\nThis cours
 e is ideal for beginners and serves as a foundation for more advanced wood
 working or boat-related classes.\n\nSkill level: Beginner\n\nOutcome: Fo
 undational tool skills and increased workshop confidence. Take home a proj
